Fisher & Hall Urban Design was the lead consultant on this project, with Lois Fisher as Director of Design. The team also included JZMK Partners, KTGY Architects and Carlenzoli & Associates. This neighborhood is on the site of a former mill operation and is within walking distance of Windsor’s historic downtown and to the proposed SMART railway station that will connect Sonoma, Marin and San Francisco counties.  To provide for both a sense of place as well as for safety, housing will front onto Windsor Creek and the train tracks.  Mature oaks are also being preserved to connect this new neighborhood to the local landscape.  Narrow, interconnected streets and small block perimeters will encourage walking and neighborhood vitality.
