Vallejo, CA Health Impact Assessment

This Health Impact Assessment(HIA) project is focused on South Vallejo. Vallejo has many challenges in terms of health. Per the Solano County Service Area Community Needs Assessment, age-adjusted rates of emergency room visits and hospitalization due to heart disease, diabetes, stroke and hypertension were drastically higher in certain zip codes compared to other zip codes in the Health Service Area. This Health Impact Assessment is analyzing the effects of certain proposed policies on public health in South Vallejo.
